Hi Product Hunt,
I’m launching Fynn to test a simple idea: credit card recommendations should be transparent.
Most card sites feel like black boxes or affiliate-driven lists. I wanted to build something that matches cards to your spending, goals, fee tolerance, and credit profile, then actually shows the reasoning behind the result instead of just saying “trust us.”
What Fynn does right now:
Gives explainable card matches based on your profile
Estimates usable value, not just flashy headline rewards
Lets you browse cards and compare them side by side
Includes optional bank-linking ideas for making spend inputs more accurate
A couple honest notes:
Plaid is still on a trial setup, so bank connections may not work reliably yet
There are no live affiliate links, and Fynn is not making money right now
This is an early prototype, and I’m mainly validating whether this should exist
I’d especially love feedback on:
Whether the recommendations feel trustworthy
Whether the explanations are actually useful
What would make you try a tool like this for real
