Formgrid
Form builder, form backend, lead pipeline. No Zapier.
Formgrid combines a form builder, form backend, and lead pipeline in one tool. What makes it different: Google Sheets sync is built in. No Zapier needed. Every submission becomes a tracked lead with status, notes, and follow-up reminders. Custom email templates on the Business plan. Works with any HTML form in one line of code. Free to start. Open source. Self-hostable.
Hey everyone! I am Allen, a solo founder building Formgrid.
I built Formgrid because I kept running into the same problem. HTML forms that just send emails with no way to track who enquired, follow up on good leads, or know which marketing channel actually brought them in.
Every solution I found either cost too much, required Zapier to do basic things like sync to Google Sheets, or stopped at the inbox with no way to manage what came next.
So I built Formgrid to do four things in one place: build forms with drag-and-drop, handle form submissions from any HTML form or static site, send instant email notifications on every submission, sync everything to Google Sheets without Zapier, and turn every submission into a tracked lead with a status, notes, and follow-up reminders.
Two real customers that shaped the product:
A T-shirt printing business owner used ChatGPT to build his quote request form. He needed somewhere to send submissions and accept design file uploads. He found Formgrid, connected it in 5 minutes, and now manages every quote request as a tracked lead.
An endurance ride event organizer needed clean, organized emails for her 75-year-old ride manager. We built her a custom email template tailored to her exact form fields. She is now on our Business plan.
Those two customers taught me that Formgrid is not just for developers. It is for anyone who collects information through a form and needs a reliable system to manage what comes next.
Formgrid is free to start, open source, and self-hostable on Docker for unlimited usage.

Formgrid was hunted by Allen Jones. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
