Built Forge OS because I wanted AI on Android to do more than chat. Most experiences still feel temporary and limited, so I created an on-device, agentic OS layer for LLMs with persistent memory, Python 3.11 runtime, headless browser, plugins, MCP client, and bring-your-own-provider keys. The goal is to make AI more capable, extensible, and actually useful in real workflows.
One of the core ideas behind Forge OS is that mobile AI should be more than a chat wrapper. Memory, execution, extensibility, and user control all matter if it’s going to be useful in real workflows.
