finqOS is a stock research terminal for self-directed investors. Screen thousands of stocks across 175+ metrics. Benchmark your portfolio against the S&P 500 with time-weighted returns. Build investment theses on an infinite research canvas by pulling in financial data and 40+ block types.
👋 I built finqOS because my own research workflow was scattered across 6+ tabs - one for screening, one for SEC filings, another for portfolio tracking, a spreadsheet for thesis notes. Every platform did one thing well but nothing connected. I wanted a single workspace where I could go from "interesting stock" to "documented investment thesis" without context-switching.
The biggest unlock was the Research Canvas - an infinite workspace (think Notion meets a Bloomberg terminal) where you can pull live data cards, SEC filings, and earnings transcripts directly alongside your notes. You're not just reading data; you're building a structured argument for or against a position.
The approach evolved a lot. I started with just a screener, but quickly realized screening is only the starting point. The real value is in what happens after you find a stock - the deep research, the thesis building, the portfolio tracking against a benchmark. So I kept building: 175+ screening metrics, time-weighted portfolio returns benchmarked against SPY, insider trading signals, 30 years of historical data.
14-day free trial, full power, no credit card required. Would love your feedback, especially on the Research Canvas!
