Hey everyone! Finanxy started as the note that never left my pocket. I've tracked every expense since 2019, and over those years my "dream app" list kept growing right beside it: features I always wanted to see exist (like keeping personal, family, and side-business money truly separate), detail done properly, and numbers that stay exact. This launch is that list becoming real.
What makes Finanxy different:
Offline-First. The day-to-day works with airplane mode on - except for the features that naturally need internet: recording, insights, budgets, even the fully auditable double-entry ledger. Backups to local storage and Google Drive are free and automatic.
Multiple journals. Personal, Couple, Family, Business stay in separate journals; invite members to share the ones you want shared.
Auto-capture. Turn payment notifications into one-tap transactions; share a receipt image and it becomes a transaction. Manual entry has merchant + location + per-item tax/discount/tip detail.
AI Assistant (Beta) in the app, plus Chat Connections over Telegram (WhatsApp/Discord soon).
Asset & debt tracking with real-life types: crypto and stocks, real estate, receivables, credit cards, BNPL, leases. And an equals sign you can trust: edits become corrections instead of rewriting history.
