Hi Product Hunt! 👋
I built Excelert to solve a frustrating problem: preparing Excel files for printing on a mobile phone.
Converting a spreadsheet to PDF is one thing, but getting it to print exactly the way you want is another. Pages can break in the wrong places, columns can get cut off, and adjusting margins, orientation, scaling, and page layout on a phone can be a real challenge.
I wanted to bring the kind of print control people expect from a desktop workflow to Android, without requiring an internet connection.
Excelert lets you preview your pages, configure print settings, control page breaks, adjust scaling, and export your spreadsheet to PDF — all from your phone, offline.
Throughout development, I focused on more than just conversion. The goal was to give users greater control over the final printed result, including addressing spreadsheet printing issues that can otherwise be difficult to work around.
I built Excelert for anyone who relies on spreadsheets for work, especially people who need to prepare reports while away from their computers.
I'd love to hear your feedback!
What's the most frustrating part of printing Excel files from your phone? And what feature would make a tool like Excelert more useful to you?
Thanks for checking it out! 🙌
