Email It In
Email attachments into Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox, Box
Email It In gives you a personal email address. Forward an email, point a scanner or copier at it, or give it to suppliers, and the attachments land in the right folder in Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox, Box or Egnyte. Routing rules file tagged mail into its own folder. No inbox access needed, and files are never stored on our servers. Running since 2013, with over 11 million files filed.
Hi Product Hunt! I'm Matt, and I built Email It In back in 2013 as a side project: I wanted to email files straight into Google Drive, and nothing did it.
Thirteen years and over 11 million filed attachments later, it was still running on its 2013 code. This month I rebuilt it from scratch, and it's a good moment to finally put it here.
How it works: - Sign in with Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox, Box or Egnyte. Your address (like jane42otter@emailitin.com) is ready straight away. - Email or forward anything to it. Attachments land in the folder you chose, in a few seconds. - Routing rules file tagged mail into its own folder: put [invoices] in the subject, or send to you+invoices@emailitin.com. - It works from anything that sends email: your phone, an office scanner or copier, or suppliers sending invoices directly. It never needs access to your mailbox, and files pass straight through without being kept.
What's new in the rebuild: Box support, Google Shared Drives, a folder picker, a "Send me a test file" button, and plans based on volume. The free plan covers light use.
New this week, straight from our customer survey: automatic folders (by sender, year or month) and clean file names like "2026-10-03 Acme invoice.pdf" on Pro, and the little logos in email signatures are no longer filed as attachments.
People use it for invoices and receipts into accounting folders, scans from office copiers, and sales teams collecting customer documents. I'd love to hear what you'd use it for, and what's missing.
