dunno is a local-first decision picker for iPhone. Drop in your options, shake your phone, and let it pick a fair one. Everything stays on your device.

Top comment

Shake to pick is such a fun idea, and it actually feels random enough to trust. Love that nothing leaves the phone.

Comment highlights

Love that shake-to-pick is the headline interaction instead of a button. Feels playful and immediate, and the local-first angle is a really nice match for something that should just work offline without any of that "sync your decisions to the cloud" nonsense.

Love the local-first angle and the shake gesture feels really natural for this. One thing I'd want though is the ability to add weights to certain options, so if I'm picking a restaurant I can nudge it toward the one I haven't tried yet without fully removing my favorites.

Love how everything stays on-device, that's a thoughtful choice for something this simple. The shake gesture feels way more satisfying than spinning a wheel or tapping randomize. Nice work.
