I kept meeting founders who knew the DPDP Act applied to them but had no idea what to actually do about it, so I built the thing I wished I could hand them
That is the gap. India's new data protection law leaves most small and medium businesses stuck. It is dense, consultants are expensive, and nobody tells you plainly what you actually need to do.
And it is not only an India problem. If your business handles the personal data of anyone in India, the DPDP Act applies to you even if you are based elsewhere, the same way GDPR reaches beyond Europe.
So I made something that does four things:
• explains the Act in plain language, in 15 Indian languages
• tells you whether you are a Data Fiduciary or a Data Processor
• runs a readiness assessment tailored to your sector
• generates the compliance documents you need, built from your answers
The learning and assessment tools are free. The document pack is ₹1,000, far less than a consultant would charge for the same paperwork.
It is built to get you started and organised. It is general guidance, not legal advice, so I always suggest a qualified reviewer before anything goes live.
