Hi Hunters! I'm davvikq, the creator of DMS.
I built this tool because I realized that every time I shared a file, I was unintentionally "doxing" myself with GPS coordinates, device serial numbers, and exact timestamps (note: while most social networks strip this data by default, direct file sharing via messengers, email, or cloud storage often leaves it fully intact). Most online "metadata cleaners" felt like a trap — why send private files to a remote server just to make them private?
DMS (Deceptive Metadata Shredder) is different because:
It's strictly offline: Your files never leave your machine.
The "Spoofing" Mode: Instead of just wiping data (which can look suspicious), DMS can replace it with plausible "noise".
Automation: I added a "Watch Folder" feature so you can just drop files into a directory and let the app handle the rest in the background.
