I am an Engineer and as an engineer, I spend a massive portion of my life buried in dense, multi-column technical papers to figure out the state of research and new technologies emerging. Whether preparing for a conference or presenting a thesis or summarizing what I do to my boss, I found that doing that many presentation is very exhausting and time-wasting. I tried to use the current tools on the market but found that every existing "AI presentation maker" fundamentally failed when handed real academic rigor. They hallucinate formatting, drop critical data points, and generate unusable exports that require hours of manual fixing. I got tired of the friction, so I built the exact tool I needed. This is how Dekked was born
