A Discord bot for help channels. When someone asks a question that was already solved, it replies with the past answer, plus an AI-drafted reply on paid plans, before a mod has to. Solved threads are tagged, archived and searchable in Discord, and can publish to a public FAQ site Google can index (opt-in, usernames aliased). Pro and Max expose the archive as an MCP server for Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor. Semantic search on every tier, free plan included. Open source and self-hostable.
Hi Product Hunt! 👋 I'm Lars, maker of Dejavue.
If you've ever run a help channel on Discord, you know the problem: the same setup error comes in every week, the same few people answer it, and the good answer ends up buried in a thread nobody can find.
Dejavue fixes that:
🔁 Someone posts a question → Dejavue checks it against every solved thread and replies with the matches (and an AI-drafted answer on Plus and up).
✅ Someone marks it solved with a button, or by right-clicking the helpful reply. The tags switch from unsolved to solved automatically.
📚 Every solved thread goes into a searchable archive: /dejavue search in Discord, an optional public FAQ site at yourserver.dejavue.app (or your own domain), and on Pro/Max an MCP server so Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor can answer from your community's real answers.
📊 You also get resolution rate, top helpers, reminders for unanswered questions, and clusters of recurring questions so you know which docs to write next.
Setup takes about a minute: add the bot, run /dejavue setup on your help channel, and /dejavue rescan to import your existing history so it works from day one.
A few things I cared about:
• The public site is off by default, and usernames are replaced with "Original poster" / "Helper N".
• Semantic search is on every plan, including Free. Paid plans (from €4.99/server) mainly add AI credits and more indexed messages, billed in Discord.
• It's fully open source (AGPL) and self-hostable with no license key and no feature gating.
I'd love your feedback, especially from anyone running a support, open-source or gaming community. What's the question your server keeps getting? 🙂
