Hi Product Hunt I’m Enrique, the solo trader-developer behind Deepwick. I built Deepwick to bring the trading research loop into one browser workspace: chart a market, write or adapt a strategy in a subset of Pine Script, run a backtest, then inspect the trades and script values on the chart. The backtest engine uses nextbar fills, models stops, targets and gaps, and accounts for spread, slippage and commission settings. Deepwick also includes bar replay, alerts, community scripts and a trading journal. Deepwick supports crypto, forex, gold, oil and selected US stocks. It’s a research tool; it doesn’t place trades or give investment advice. There’s a free plan, with paid plans for higher limits. I’m here to learn from traders who test their own ideas. What’s the hardest part of a backtest for you to inspect or trust?

Who hunted Deepwick?

Deepwick was hunted by Enrique Valeros. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
