In today’s digital world, most messages feel instant and forgettable. I kept wondering — what if sending a note could make someone pause for a moment? So I built Dearly. Hi, my name is Bhanu, a Product Designer obsessed with making digital products feel more human and personal. Open → Admire → Write → Send → Make someone smile. Built end-to-end in ~48 hours.
Modern communication became incredibly efficient. But somewhere along the way, it stopped feeling personal.
We send hundreds of messages every week, yet very few feel worth remembering.
That idea led me to build Dearly, a minimal experience for writing and sending handwritten digital notes designed to feel slow, intentional, and human.
-> No feeds. -> No notifications. -> No accounts.
Just words that feel a little more meaningful.
The experience is intentionally simple:
Open → Write → Seal → Send
I designed and built Dearly end-to-end in ~48 hours as an exploration into how digital products can create emotional presence instead of just delivering information.
