Hey Product Hunt 👋
I'm Viktor, a house and tech-house producer from Germany. I run a small production studio, and CuePort started because I was annoyed, not because I wanted to build a startup.
I'd tried the existing feedback tools. They're fine for sending a track and collecting comments on it. But the thing I do constantly is compare two versions, and every one of them broke down right there. Switch from v3 to v4 and you're back at zero. Reload, buffer, find your spot again, and by the time the drop hits you've forgotten what the old one sounded like. That half-second gap kills the comparison, because A/B only works when it's immediate.
So CuePort does two things:
Switch between versions instantly, at the same playhead position, no reload and no gap. Comments stay pinned to the waveform at a specific timestamp on a specific version, so "the drop at 2:14 is too loud" points at exactly one place in exactly one file.
It manages the entire production, not just the review step. Lyrics, instrumental, vocal session, mix and master, artwork, payment. Per artist, per track. That part was the other half of my problem: feedback tools solve one step and leave you managing the rest in a notes app.
I've been running my own studio on it every day for months. Every feature in there exists because something annoyed me first.
Next up is the one I'm most excited about: CuePort Sync, a VST3 plugin that pulls client comments onto your timeline inside the DAW, synced to the audio. Feedback where you actually work, not in a browser tab.
