CodeTrainerCard
A Pokémon-inspired trainer card for your GitHub profile
Hey Product Hunt! 👋
I’m Leo, a software engineer from Brazil, and this is Code Trainer Card: a Pokémon trainer-card-style profile card for your GitHub README.
Why I built it: I wanted a card on my GitHub profile with my stats and the tech I work with, inspired by github-readme-stats. When I thought about showing my GitHub achievement badges on it, the Pokémon FireRed trainer card came to mind right away, since it’s where trainers show off their gym badges. So I recreated that look for developers.
What it shows:
Your name, role and avatar
GitHub stats: followers, commits and pull requests
Your GitHub achievement badges
Your skills as tech icons
Different color themes
You enter your GitHub username, pick your options, and paste one line into your README. GitHub renders it as an SVG.
It’s free and open source. I’d love your feedback: which stats, badges or themes should I add next? And if you like it, a ⭐ on the repo means a lot!
