Hi everyone! 👋
I'm really excited to finally share ClickC my first Android application.
The idea came from a problem I kept running into myself. My phone was filled with different apps for scanning documents, reading PDFs, taking notes, tracking expenses, generating QR codes, and doing other small everyday tasks. Most of them either required an internet connection, showed too many ads, or just didn't feel simple to use.
So I started building ClickC with one goal: put the tools I use every day into a single app while keeping privacy a priority. That's why I chose a local-first approach most features work offline, and your files stay on your device.
Building ClickC took about two months of learning, redesigning, fixing bugs, and improving the experience. Along the way I learned a lot about React Native, document processing, Android development, and building a product from scratch all the way to the Play Store.
This is my first Android app, so I'd genuinely love your feedback. If you try it out, please let me know what you like, what could be improved, or what features you'd like to see next.

honestly really impressed that most of this works offline, that is huge for me. one thing though, could you add OCR that actually makes scanned docs searchable? right now if i scan a printed contract i cant search inside it later, which kind of defeats the purpose for me. would love to see that added.
honestly impressed it does so much without needing an account, the offline scanning was way snappier than i expected and having my receipts stay on device is a nice change from those sketchy cloud uploaders.
the local-first approach here is honestly refreshing, like most scanner apps shove everything to the cloud by default so seeing actual offline functionality without forcing an account is a solid design choice.
Finally an all-in-one scanner that actually works offline without forcing me to sign up. The PDF tools feel snappy and I love that my expense notes stay on my device.
