Hey Product Hunt! 👋
I’m excited to introduce CityScope, an AI-powered city exploration tool that helps you discover new places through personalised running and cycling routes.
I built CityScope around a simple idea: exploring a city should be about more than getting from A to B. Whether you’re heading out for a morning run, a weekend cycle, or just want to discover somewhere new, CityScope helps turn an ordinary route into an adventure.
Under the hood, CityScope brings together Google Gemini, Google Maps, Google Routes and Cloud Run to generate routes that take interesting places and local discoveries into account.
This started as a personal engineering project exploring how AI agents, real-world geographic data and mapping services could work together to create something genuinely useful.
It’s still evolving, and I’d love your feedback!
🚴 What would you like to see CityScope do next?
Thanks for checking it out, and happy exploring! 🌍

Who hunted CityScope?
CityScope was hunted by Tim Finch. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
