I built this for my wife, not for a market.
She was scrolling short videos and shopping apps until 1-2am most nights. We tried Screen Time limits (tapped Ignore), a passcode she did not know (memorised it), and deleting the apps (the mobile web version came back). Locks lose to reflexes.
So I made the opposite: a pause. The app opens, shows the plan she wrote, and asks again - the confirm step grows a few seconds each time. Nothing is confiscated. The cost of continuing just becomes visible.
Three things I would genuinely like your take on:
1. Is a growing pause better than a hard block for you, or does it just delay the inevitable?
2. Friend Freeze - a trusted person freezes your plan. Useful, or too much?
3. What would have to be true before you replaced your current screen-time app with this?
