Hunted byNico MelianNico Melian

A screenshot is a rectangle of pixels cut out of a bigger screen. No edges, no context, which is why one pasted into a slide always looks like it fell there by accident. Capturo fixes that in one pass: padding, background, rounded corners, shadow, window frame and output shape, set together and exported once. Paste straight from the clipboard. Runs in your browser, nothing is uploaded. Plus guides on how screenshots work per platform, in four languages.

Top comment

I take screenshots all day for landing pages and bug reports, and the raw ones always looked wrong. Not badly designed, just naked: a rectangle with no edges, dropped into a slide like it fell there. The existing tools each do one piece. Crop somewhere, add a border somewhere else, then go find a gradient generator. Three tools, two exports, and the exports are where quality dies. So this is one pass. Set the padding, corners, shadow, frame and background, see it update as you go, export once. The only compression that touches the image is the final PNG. It runs entirely in the browser, and it takes a clipboard paste, which is the part I actually use: shortcut, cmd+V, done. Free, no account. Built in four languages because the how-to-screenshot guides around it are the same question asked in every country.

Who hunted Capturo?

Capturo was hunted by Nico Melian. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
