I built this because every budgeting app I tried either wanted my bank credentials or drowned me in complexity. I just wanted to know where my money was going — simply, privately, without handing over my financial life to a third party.
So I built Budgetella. Scan a receipt, AI categorizes it instantly. Set monthly limits per category. Get alerts before you overspend. Voice entry for when you're in a hurry. Everything exports as JSON — your data, always yours.
It's been live on the App Store for a few weeks now and the feedback has been great. Android is coming next.
