One thing I'd love to see is a "learning streak freeze" you can earn by teaching another user something you already mastered. It would double as built-in social motivation and reinforce your own knowledge through the Feynman technique, which is a pretty powerful combo alongside the rest of your science-backed approach.
The learning loops sound really promising and I love that it works across languages. One thing that would make a huge difference for me is a built-in spaced repetition scheduler that adapts to when I actually forget things, rather than just spaced intervals. Cognitive science apps like Anki have nailed this and it would set Breni apart.
The spaced repetition loop feels really well tuned, and I noticed myself sticking with a Spanish session way longer than I expected. Hope the topic library keeps growing beyond the usual suspects.
