I'm financing an RTX 5090 by auctioning the one surface every builder photographs: the shroud. Ten die-cut vinyl positions, each dimensioned in real millimetres against the card's actual geometry. Spin the 3D card, pick a spot, bid. Outbid = instant refund.

Hey Product Hunt 👋 A 5090 costs more than my monthly revenue, and I'd rather put ten brands on the outside of one than wait two quarters to buy it on my own. So: ten sticker positions, sold by open auction. The catch is I don't own the card yet — the auction buys it. What I actually built: • A procedurally-modelled RTX 5090 Founders Edition in Three.js. No downloaded mesh — the shroud, the 11-blade flow-through fans, the fin stacks, the chamfered edges and the lit GEFORCE RTX spine are all built from geometry. Spin it, or turn it to any of the five faces. • Every position is specified in real millimetres and validated against the card's actual 304×137×48mm dimensions, so nothing overhangs an edge or floats over a flow-through cutout. The Marquee is 110×26mm on the spine, because that's the only face you can see in a normal horizontal build. • Bids take a 20% deposit through Stripe. Get outbid and the refund is automatic — no email, no form, no waiting on me. Built with Vite, React, TanStack Router, Three.js and shadcn/ui, on Cloudflare Workers + D1. Two of ten positions are gone already. Happy to answer anything about the 3D, the auction mechanics, or why a laptop lid is worse ad inventory than a graphics card.
