Bonk is a daily autobattler inspired by MyBrute. Create a Bonk, get one combat per 24h, watch the replay, and level up with a randomized reward you don't get to choose. No ads, no IAPs, no energy timers — just a tiny ritual.
Maker here 👋
Bonk started as a personal itch. Every modern mobile "idle" game keeps
trying to maximize my session time with ads, energy refills, FOMO
banners. I wanted the opposite: a game that *demands less than a
minute a day* and gives me something to look forward to anyway.
The design constraints that fell out of that:
• Exactly 6 fights per 24h (UTC reset, no skipping with currency)
• Level-up rewards are forced random — no choice paralysis
• Combat is fully auto-resolved, watched as a replay
• No monetization in v1 — I want to nail the loop first
Built solo in Godot. Combat sim is written as pure GDScript with a
seeded RNG so it'll port server-side cleanly when I add async PvP.
Would love your honest takes — especially if you played MyBrute back
in 2009-2011, you're exactly the audience I'm trying to please.
