I'm Bianca, founder of BOMwise.
We started BOMwise after watching too many hardware teams
burn 3+ days on the same manual ritual: open the BOM,
cross-reference each part on Octopart, hunt for pin-to-pin
alternatives, flag obsolescence, repeat. Senior engineering
time spent on work that's important but not creative.
So we built an AI engine that does it in ~2 minutes.
You upload a BOM (Excel, CSV, paste it in), and BOMwise returns:
- Cost estimate at your production volume
- 8–12 pin-to-pin alternatives per critical component
- Obsolescence and PCN flags
- A one-page summary for the costing meeting
We're focused on industrial electronics — automotive, medical
devices, smart metering, IoT — where BOM mistakes cost weeks
and certifications. Currently in beta with hardware engineers
across Brazil, Spain and the EU.
