You’ve spent years meeting people. A lot of those relationships are now buried in your inbox. Blade helps you find them again. Filter by how often you’ve emailed, when you last connected, and whether someone’s outside your company. With one click, send each person an individual email through your own Gmail. Whether you’re launching something, asking for feedback, or inviting people to an event, you’re starting with people who already know you.
Looking at Blade — pulling first customers out of an existing inbox is a smart angle! When someone replies to a cold note, does Blade keep that thread tagged as a lead, or does it drop back into normal mail once they answer?
Does it consider the context of previous conversations, or does it mainly organize contacts based on email activity?
can it also proactively check the spam box? asking because sometimes, for no reason, important emails go there and you can find them when it's too late
Hey Product Hunt — I’m Paul, cofounder of KAYAK and now Blade, which I built with Yasser Bashir, CEO of Arbisoft.
The idea started with my first book, The Meeting Book. I wanted to tell people about it and realized the people most likely to care were probably already in my inbox. I just needed a way to find them.
So we built Blade.
I used it to find everyone I’d exchanged at least five emails with over the previous year. That surfaced about 400 people. I reviewed the list, trimmed it to 209, and sent each person an individual email through my Gmail via one screen in Blade.
45 wrote back asking for more information, and I also got 21 amazon reviews written! That surprised me!
That’s the idea behind Blade: help you rediscover people you already know, choose who you want to reach, and send them a normal email from your own account.
I’ve since used it for investor updates, event invitations, and product feedback.
We’re making Blade free for the next 30 days. Give it a try at blade.net—I’d love to hear who you reconnect with.

Who hunted Blade?
Blade was hunted by Ashley Hocking. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
