Beam-It
Send files straight between your devices, in the browser
Beam-It sends files, photos, messages and links straight from one device to another in the browser. Pair two devices once with a QR code or a 6-letter code, then drop files in. Works between iPhone, Android, Mac, Windows, Linux and Chromebook. Nothing to install, no account, no size limit, and files are never uploaded to a server. Also: voice and video calls, screen sharing, one-time links for people without Beam-It, and an app lock. Free.
Hi, I'm Harold. I made Beam-It because moving a file between my Mac, my Windows PC and my phone was always more work than it should be. It runs in the browser, so there is nothing to install and no account. Files go straight from one device to the other and are never uploaded. It is free. I'd like to hear what you would add.
