Hey Product Hunt 👋 I’m Tuhin, the maker of Axeon. I love how fast you can build with Express. I also wanted Rust’s speed and safety. Most Rust web frameworks ask you to learn a lot of type machinery before you can write a “hello world” endpoint, so I built the framework I wanted to use: let mut app = Server::new(); app.get("/", |_req| async { "Hello, World!" }); app.listen("127.0.0.1:3000")?; What you get: ⚡ ~4-5x Express throughput on ~1/100th of the memory (benchmarks are in the repo, so you can reproduce them) 🔋 Auth, sessions, CSRF, validation, WebSockets, SSE and metrics built in 🔒 Secure defaults: limits, timeouts, rate limiting and security headers 🧩 Any tower / tower-http layer works as middleware 🗄️ A companion ORM, axeon-orm, for PostgreSQL and SQLite 1.0 is out today, with a documented stability policy, so you can depend on it. I’d love your feedback on two things: What would make you move an existing Node/Express service to Rust? What is still missing before you’d use it in production? I’ll be here all day answering questions. Thank you! 🙏
