I built AskFred because I saw small businesses losing customers to simple questions they couldn't answer fast enough. A bakery getting 20 "what time do you close?" messages a day. A dentist office missing booking requests after hours. These aren't complicated problems, but they cost real money.
Most chatbot solutions are built for enterprises with budgets and dev teams. I wanted something a 60 year old bakery owner could set up in 5 minutes without calling anyone.
How it works: you paste your website URL, AskFred reads everything and builds a knowledge base. You copy one line of code to your site. That's it. It handles routine questions 24/7 and escalates anything it can't answer to you.
