I built Askee out of pure frustration. I found myself constantly copy-pasting text, opening ChatGPT in a separate tab, and switching back and forth just to get a quick summary, translate a sentence, or understand a complex chart. It felt like unnecessary friction in my daily workflow.

Highlighted a long YouTube transcript and got a clear answer in seconds without scrubbing through the video. Way more useful than I expected for research.
Would love a keyboard shortcut to summon the chat without highlighting, basically a quick overlay I can pop open on any tab. Would make jumping into a YouTube video or long doc way faster than reaching for the mouse every time.
The highlight-to-ask flow is genuinely satisfying, no extra clicks or menus to fight through. Love that it works the same way on docs and YouTube without needing separate modes.
