AptiStockX
Local-first desktop stock charts for serious traders
AptiStockX is a native desktop stock charting app for Windows, macOS, and Linux. Keep charts, workspaces, watchlists, downloaded data, provider credentials, and licenses local while using indicators, studies, and AI-assisted chart review.
> Hi Product Hunt, I'm HL, maker of AptiStockX.
>
> AptiStockX is the modern continuation of AptiStock, a desktop stock charting tool that started in 2005. The new 3.0 release brings the product line to Windows, macOS, and Linux with a local-first workflow.
>
> I built it for self-directed traders and researchers who still want a real desktop app: local chart files, local workspaces, local watchlists, local downloaded data, provider-separated data workflows, indicators, drawing studies, and multi-monitor charting.
>
> Basic is free. Pro is a paid license, and the app includes a 7-day Pro Trial so people can test the deeper workflow before buying.
>
> I'd love feedback from the Product Hunt community on the positioning, onboarding, and which data-provider workflows matter most to you.
>
> Important note: AptiStockX is research and charting software, not financial advice, trading advice, brokerage, or trade execution.
finally a native desktop app that doesn't force me through a browser, and the local storage for workspaces and data feels like the obvious move it always should've been
Love that everything stays local, charts, workspaces, even provider credentials. Way too many finance tools shove your data into the cloud by default, so this feels like a respectful choice for traders who actually care about privacy.
