Honest answer up front: there wasn't really a problem to solve. I just wanted to build something fun for cat people. No signup, no paywall, no real purpose.
CatGPT is a small collection of free cat tools, games, and generators. It was built mostly with AI help (that's where the "GPT" comes from), but there's no chatbot under the hood. Just a bunch of silly stuff to play with.
Process was simple: think of a silly cat idea, build it, ship it, add another. Started with the Cat Advice Column (ask anything, receive profound and unhelpful wisdom), then added things like the Cat Horoscope, "Is My Cat Mad?" (spoiler: yes), and a Cat Password Generator that's somehow more secure than Password123.
