2dle
Your turntable, your room, your records, on your desktop.
2dle puts a 3D record player on your desktop that plays along with your music. Your album cover goes on the sleeve and the record. Then you make it yours: pick from 6 turntables and 12 scenes, collect 12 record styles just by listening, and earn clocks by inviting friends. The daylight follows your clock, the weather can follow yours, and everything wears in with scratches and dust. Out now for Mac, with Windows and Linux on the way. Free. All of it, for good!
Hey Product Hunt! I'm Masashi, based in Tokyo with a big love of music. My team consists of me and Yuki.
Why a turntable? Because on a high schooler's budget, we couldn't afford real ones! So we went after that dream the way we love best: by coding it. 2dle is the record player we wished we had, sitting right on the desktop and playing along with whatever's on.
2dle is free. All of it. No subscription, no freemium! It runs on passion.
What's next: making 2dle much lighter (your Mac's fans will thank us), Windows and Linux, open-sourcing it, and more scenes, turntables and records. Tell us what you'd like to see! What you love, what bugs you, what you wish it did: all of it. You're the most valued person around here, no kidding.
