ZenVort
A privacy-first, zero-server media converter.
ZenVort uses WebAssembly to convert video, transcode audio, and edit PDFs locally on your device. Zero cloud servers, zero tracking, and 100% data privacy.
Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I’m the maker of ZenVort.
I was tired of using 'free' online converters that force you into massive queues, cap your file sizes, and secretly upload your private documents to random cloud servers.
So, I built ZenVort. It brings native desktop processing power directly to the browser using WebAssembly (FFmpeg & pdf-lib). When you drop a video or a PDF into ZenVort, it is processed entirely in your local RAM. Zero bytes ever leave your device.
Key Features:
⚡ 100% Offline: Once the UI loads, you can disconnect your router. It still works.
🔒 Absolute Privacy: We don't have servers, so we can't see your files.
🚫 Zero Ads/Tracking: I actually stripped out Google AdSense right before launch because it violated our core privacy promise.
🕹️ Arcade Suite: We even added offline retro games to play while your heavy 4K videos transcode.
I built this to be the last utility suite you ever need to bookmark. I'd love to hear your feedback on the UI and the WASM engine performance!
