Zap
Quit every Mac app in one click. Poof, clean desktop.
Zap is a tiny menu bar app for macOS that quits every open app in one click. Your windows spiral into the ⚡ button and each app quits the moment it gets there, exactly like pressing ⌘Q, so unsaved documents still ask to save. Finder, the Dock and system processes are never touched, and you can lock any app you want to keep (music, terminal…). 1 MB, no account, no network code, no tracking. Perfect before a screen share, at the end of the day or to start a focus session. 2$ one-time payment.

Hey Product Hunt 👋 I'm the solo dev behind Zap. I always end my day with 20+ apps open and used to ⌘Q them one by one, especially before screen shares. So I built the most satisfying way to reset a Mac: one click, every app spirals into the button and quits cleanly (unsaved work still prompts, Finder stays). It's $2 one-time, 1 MB, no account, no tracking. Not notarized yet (that's what the first sales will pay for 😅). Would love your feedback: what should Zap do next? Scheduled zaps? Profiles?
