I built this because every existing YouTube transcript tool I tried either (a) made me sign up before showing me anything, (b) was painfully slow, or (c) stopped at the transcript and left the rest to me. Transcripts are a commodity — the real value is what you do with the text.
So I shipped one tool that does it all: paste a URL, get a clean timestamped transcript in seconds, then turn it into a summary, chat with it, generate a quiz, or export to SRT/VTT for subtitling. 100+ languages, no signup for the basics.
Stack: Next.js on Vercel, Python backend, residential proxies for reliability (this part was painful — happy to share what I learned).
