why you
A website you can't sign up for. Someone has to choose you.
You can't sign up for why you. Someone has to choose you, with one line about why. You read it, scroll back through every stranger before you, then get 3 notes of your own to pass on. Notes fade after 48 hours if nobody opens them.
hey PH 👋 I'm #1 in this chain. I built it because every app lets you in by default, and I wanted one that only lets you in when a person decides you're worth a sentence.
built solo in India: one Node process, one SQLite file.

Who hunted why you?
why you was hunted by Divyansh Deep. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
