Watt
Read, listen to, and quiz yourself on curious facts
Explore more than 1,500 sourced facts in one place. Choose a topic and a reading level for kids, adults, or experts, then read or listen to a concise explanation and check what you learned with a quiz.
Hi Product Hunt! I’m Andrii, and I built Watt.
I built Watt because I love learning unexpected things, but useful facts are scattered across the internet and vary in quality. Watt brings them together with sources and turns each one into a small learning loop: a fact, a clear explanation, audio you can listen to, and a quiz.
You can browse by topic and choose a child, adult, or expert explanation. Watt currently has around 1,500 facts, and I’m working toward 5,000, with more languages and voice options on the roadmap.
The hardest part has been connecting research, writing, audio, quizzes, and publishing into a reliable system that can keep improving the product. I’ve also learned from early testers that discovery is only the beginning: people need a reason to come back, so I’ve been building progress and game-like features around the facts.
I’d love for you to try a fact and tell me where the experience feels useful, confusing, or worth returning to. What would make Watt part of your learning routine?

Who hunted Watt ?
Watt was hunted by Andriy Rohalya. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
