WatchSocial
The free TV tracker you actually watch with friends
Most trackers stop at logging: you rate a show, close the app, watch alone. WatchSocial fuses tracking with synced watch parties - press play at the same second as friends and chat live in your browser (Netflix, Prime, Disney+, Hulu, Max, YouTube), then it logs to everyone's history. Plus what rivals paywall - advanced stats, streaming filters, unlimited lists, year-in-review - all free. One account across web, iOS, Android and a browser extension. Import from TV Time, Trakt or Letterboxd.
Hey Product Hunt, I built WatchSocial.
I've tried every TV tracker out there and they all share one gap: they log what you watched, but the watching itself is still solo. You finish an episode, tap a rating, close the app.
And the one thing I actually wanted, watching a show at the same second as friends who live somewhere else, only existed in standalone tools like Teleparty that do nothing else. No tracking, no history, no community. So you were always stuck juggling two apps, one to watch together, one to remember what you watched.
WatchSocial puts both in one place. A full tracker AND synced watch parties in the browser, plus a community feed and games on top. Along the way we decided not to paywall the basics either, advanced stats, streaming filters, unlimited lists and year-in-review are things other apps charge $40-60/yr for, and here they're free.
It's still early and we're shipping constantly, we already have a hundred signups in the last week! I'd genuinely love your feedback, what would make this your main tracking app?
Import your history from TV Time, Trakt or Letterboxd and give it a go at watchsocial.tv

Who hunted WatchSocial?
WatchSocial was hunted by WatchSocial. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
