I built Volamy after a moment that’s probably familiar to most of you.
I walked out of a difficult conversation convinced it had gone well. Two weeks later I found out it hadn’t — not even close. The other person had experienced something completely different from what I thought I’d communicated.
That gap — between how you think you land and how you actually land — is one of the most consequential blind spots in professional life. And there’s almost no good way to close it. Asking people directly rarely gets you honesty. Coaching is expensive and infrequent. Journaling just reflects your own perspective back at you.
So I built Volamy to face the other direction.
You describe any interaction — a meeting, a tough conversation, an email exchange — and Volamy reconstructs what the other person likely experienced. Not what you intended. What they probably felt, what they likely took away, what they may have noticed that you didn’t mean to communicate.
Over time it builds your personal Impact Map — the specific, recurring patterns in how you land on people. Not “you’re an INTJ.” Actual observations like: “When you’re under pressure, your precision lands as dismissal. This appeared in 7 of your last 9 high-stakes interactions.”
There’s also a Pre-Send Check — paste any draft before you send it and Volamy shows you how it will land with the specific person you’re sending it to.
