Vibeke

Supervise coding agents from your terminal, desktop & phone

Vibeke is an open source terminal workspace for coding agents like Claude Code and Codex. Run your usual agent commands in panes. Questions and permission requests from every agent collect in one inbox. Answer them in the terminal, the desktop app or on your phone. Panes keep running when the server restarts or updates. Preview the app your agent builds from any device. Hand off an agent's work to another machine, cloud sandbox or teammate. Host CLI for OSX and Linux.

Hi Product Hunt! Vibeke is a workspace for agentic development: running several coding agents at once and staying in control of them. It was inspired by tools like Herdr, Conductor and Superset. Herdr has a great tmux-like terminal experience. It is fast, keyboard-driven and lives in the terminal you already use. Conductor and Superset made parallel agents feel smooth, with worktrees and review built in, and allowing you to follow your agents from your phone. Over the last year my work have changed, as I imagine it has for every other developer. I stopped writing most of the code myself. Instead, I started several agents in the morning and spent the day steering them. I loved working in the terminal, but I kept missing things. An agent would sit for twenty minutes waiting for a "yes". Another one was hidden behind some other pane. When I tried the desktop apps, I got phone access and nice review screens, but I lost the terminal I live in. I also wanted to move work around. Sometimes I start a task on my laptop and want it to keep going on a bigger machine. Sometimes I want to pass it to a colleague. No tool did all of that, so I started building one. Vibeke tries to combine both worlds: 🖥️ Your own terminal, plus apps. Run claude, codex or any agent CLI in a pane of the terminal you already use. The desktop app and the browser/phone app connect to the same running session. 🔔 One inbox for every agent. Permission requests and questions from all agents collect in one list. You answer them from the terminal, the desktop or your phone. 📱 Phone access without SSH or open ports. Pair once. Traffic goes through an encrypted relay that cannot read it. 🔁 Panes that survive restarts. A separate holder process keeps each agent running when the Vibeke server restarts or updates. 🚚 Work that moves. Hand off an agent's branch, changes and session to another machine, a cloud sandbox or a teammate. 🌐 Previews anywhere. See the app your agent is building from inside the terminal, desktop app or on your phone. Vibeke is open source (Apache 2.0). The host CLI runs on OSX and Linux. Desktop apps exist for macOS, Linux and Windows. Install guide: vibeke.dev/docs/install Coming from Herdr? "vibeke import herdr" brings over your config and layouts. We also try to support most Herdr plugins. We test real plugins from the Herdr ecosystem against Vibeke, and most of the popular ones already work. Support is still partial, so tell me if your favorite plugin breaks.
