We built Vibecheck because internet conversations are getting harder to understand.
Most AI moderation tools analyze content in isolation: toxicity scores, keyword matches, policy labels, risk categories, etc.
That’s useful…but online conversations don’t happen in isolation.
The meaning of a comment often depends on:
- the surrounding thread
- the community norms
- recurring dynamics between users
- whether the conversation is escalating or self-correcting
- and how other people are reacting to it
That’s the gap we built Vibecheck for.
What’s actually happening in the thread?
Is this harassment, or friends roasting each other?
Is misinformation spreading, or are users pushing back on it?
Is this one angry user, or part of a recurring conflict?
Is the conversation getting worse, or working itself out?
Vibecheck acts more like a weather report for online conversations: "Do I need to bring an umbrella to this thread?"
We analyze tone, escalation, disagreement, claims, spam, recurring conflict, and whether a conversation is likely getting healthier or worse over time.
