We built this because enterprise AI detectors are terrible at video. Running true frame-by-frame optical flow in the cloud is just too expensive for them to scale, so they rely on cheap heuristics and miss obvious fakes. We originally tried building this as a web SaaS, but realized the compute costs would bankrupt us instantly. So we pivoted and built a beast of a local desktop app instead. The Ripper runs 100% locally on your own GPU. No Cloud Limits: You aren't waiting in a server queue or hitting upload caps. Total Privacy: Your files never leave your machine. No SaaS Fees: You bring the hardware, so you don't pay a monthly subscription. We have a lightweight web demo so you can see the UI, but the desktop app is where the actual heavy lifting happens. Throw your toughest AI fakes at it, let it melt your GPU for a few seconds, and let me know what you think!
