Uqaala

Your phone number, now a verified contact page

Hi Product Hunt

uqaala started with a small minor annoyance: trying to read long web addresses on billboards, vans and trucks. You're driving past a sign or stuck behind a van at a light, and by the time you've worked out, it's gone.

But nearly every one of those signs already has a phone number on it, printed big, in the one format everyone knows how to read and remember. So why not make that number the contact page?

Your number is your contact page. With uqaala, your contact page lives at uqaala.com/ followed by your number: your address, hours, email and socials in one place, with tap-to-call, text, directions and "save contact". Nothing to build and no domain to buy.

Your number is also your X, Instagram, Facebook and every other link. Add a word after the number and it goes straight there. Here's ours, 819-319-1679:

uqaala.com/8193191679 → our contact page

uqaala.com/8193191679/x → our X (Twitter)
and similarly

/fb → our Facebook

/book → a booking page

/call or /text → calls or texts us

So a van, a menu or a business card only needs one line: the phone number. Want the menu? Add /menu. Want to follow them? Add /ig. The links always go wherever the owner last pointed them, so switching booking systems never means reprinting a sign.

It also solves a trust problem. A contact page can only be created by texting from that exact phone number, and only someone who controls the number can edit it. So what you see was put there by whoever controls the number, not by a reseller, a scammer or an outdated directory listing. Links are protected too: we review every outside link before uqaala.com sends people straight to it, and until then visitors see exactly where a link goes before continuing.

How it works:

1. Tap Register and send the text that opens, from your phone.

2. Add your details, links and social handles. You can paste your info from an AI tool to fill it in.

3. Share your number. You also get a QR code with the uqaala logo.

Too busy? Text ONBOARD to 819-319-1679 from your business number and we'll build your contact page from your Google listing.

It's live for US and Canadian numbers now. If you'd like it in your country, there's a link on the home page to let us know.

I'd love your feedback, especially from anyone who's paid for signage or vehicle wraps: what would make you put "uqaala.com/your number" on your sign?
