Hey Product Hunt! I'm Louis, the founder of UpliftED Finance. Here's the story behind it. 65% of Americans live paycheck to paycheck. 8 in 10 say finance is their biggest stressor. 7 in 10 have lost sleep over their finances. I was one of them. My first instinct was education. Build a course, give people the information they're missing. So I did. It didn't work. Talking to peers and early users, I kept hitting the same wall: they weren't missing information. You can get that anywhere. What was getting in the way were the beliefs they carried about money and about themselves. Dr. Brad Klontz, a financial psychologist, found that our core money beliefs are set by age seven. They shape every financial decision we make, often without us knowing. And they don't change unless you're (a) aware of them and (b) actively working on them. So I scrapped the course and rebuilt around that insight. UpliftED Finance uses financial psychology, cognitive behavioral therapy, and gamification to drive long-term behavioral change in personal finance. In practice, that means a belief assessment, guided exercises to identify and rewrite limiting beliefs, financial literacy lessons, and a dashboard that tracks how your relationship with money shifts over time. Ronald Reed was a high school graduate who spent his career as a gas station attendant and janitor. He lived frugally, invested consistently, and died worth $8 million, leaving it all to charity. Richard Fuscone was a Harvard MBA and a former Merrill Lynch VP. He had every advantage Reed didn't. But chasing status and returns, he overleveraged himself and declared bankruptcy in 2008. Same era. Wildly different outcomes. The difference wasn't knowledge or opportunity. It was their beliefs. That is what UpliftED Finance is here to do: create more Ronald Reeds, people who build wealth and freedom quietly on their own terms, and fewer Richard Fuscones who lost it all because of beliefs they never examined. Drop a comment. Break it. Tell us what's missing. I'll be here all day to respond.
