Unbed App

The first morning alarm you can't cheat

You’ve tried six alarms. You’ve tried putting your phone across the room. You’ve tried apps that make you shake your phone or solve a math problem. You still snoozed. Unbed is a small physical block you place somewhere in your home. When your alarm goes off, it won’t stop until you get up and tap your phone to it. Place it wherever you want to go first thing. One time purchase, no subscription. As seen in the NYT & CBS. 12,000+ Unbeds shipped and counting.

Hey Product Hunt! Matt here, one of the co-founders of Unbed. This started because I genuinely could not wake up. I'd set six alarms, snooze all of them, and still be late. I tried every app, every trick, every "motivation hack." None of it worked because the real problem wasn't my mindset. It was that stopping an alarm from bed is just too easy. So we made it impossible. You place a small block somewhere in your home before you sleep. When the alarm goes off, the only way to stop it is to get up and tap your phone to it. That's it. No willpower required, just friction. We've shipped to thousands of people across North America and Europe now, and one review kind of says it all: "I absolutely DESPISE this thing. That being said, I have always been an avid 6-8x snoozer in the mornings and this is the only thing that makes me get up at a crisp 6:50am every single morning." That's the product. You hate it so much that you love it. We were covered by the NYT and CBS, but honestly reviews like that are what keep us going. We're a tiny team and this launch means a lot to us. Happy to answer anything, whether it's how the block works, what we learned from early users, or where we're taking this next. And honestly, if you're a chronic snoozer, I'd love to hear how bad it actually gets for you. Thanks for being here.
