TripFund

Group trip expenses, for whoever holds the money

TripFund is a trip expense tracker for the person who holds the group's money. Other apps work out who owes whom; this one records a shared fund and turns it into a report. Enter the amount, tap a category, done. Spend in any currency and read it in yours. Dues, donations and proceeds are kept apart. Export to Excel or PDF when the trip is over. No sign-up, works offline, no limit on entries. Free with ads. Android, 9 languages.

Hi Product Hunt 👋 I'm Won Kyu, an indie Android developer from Korea. Most trip expense apps answer one question: who owes whom? But on a group trip, a retreat or a mission team, one person usually holds everyone's money and has to account for it afterwards. TripFund is built for that person. What it does: • Amount first, then one tap on a category. No limit on entries • Spend in any currency, see income, spending and balance in your own • Money in is grouped by source (dues, donations, proceeds), money out by category • Report by category, by source and by day, exported to Excel or PDF • No account, works offline, keeps the local time of each record • 9 languages It is free with ads. Exporting a report takes one ad per file, or none with Premium. Only the person keeping the books needs it. Two things I would love your feedback on: 1. If you have kept the money for a group, what was the hardest part? 2. Would you want the others to see the balance live, or is a report at the end enough? Thanks for taking a look. I will be here all day to answer questions.
