Touchpoint
A desktop app for better 1-on-1 meetings
1-on-1 meetings are easy to let slide into small talk. Touchpoint keeps them structured without feeling like a form to fill out. Each person gets their own file with recurring questions, session history, and a private notes panel. Last session's answer sits next to today's notes so you always have context. Your notes live as files on your machine. No cloud, no account, no subscription. $29 one-time.
I built Touchpoint because I kept having the same problem — sitting down for a 1-on-1 and not being able to find my notes from last time. I'd wing it, the conversation would drift, and six months later I'd have nothing useful for a performance review.
I tried Notion, Google Docs, plain text files. None of them were built for this specific workflow. They're either too generic or too heavy.
Touchpoint is one thing: a structured place for recurring questions, session history, and private notes per person. Everything stays local on your machine as simple files. No cloud, no account, no subscription.
I work as a craft manager at a game studio and teach game programming on the side, so this scratches my own itch. Happy to answer any questions about how it works.

Who hunted Touchpoint?
Touchpoint was hunted by Krister Cederlund. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
