TocToc

Mass auto applications for French apprenticeships

In France, many degrees are earned through “alternance”, a kind of apprenticeship: students split their time between school and a paid job, and the company covers tuition. The catch: no company, no spot in the program. Students have to find one themselves, often by cold-emailing dozens of employers. TocToc reads your CV, finds companies in your field near you, and writes a personal email to each one, then sends it. Try it free on 10 companies, no card needed.

Hey Product Hunt 👋 I’m Oscar, solo founder of TocToc. Some context for those outside France: here, a large share of students earn their degree through alternance. They alternate between school and a paid job at a company, and their tuition is covered. It’s a great deal, with one catch: you only get into the program if you find a company yourself. Every year, hundreds of thousands of 17-to-25-year-olds go through the same grind. They look up companies one by one, rewrite the same cover letter for each, send dozens of emails, and mostly hear nothing back. How it works: Upload your CV and say what kind of role you’re after. TocToc finds companies in your field near you. For each company, it writes a separate email based on your actual experience. No mail-merge template with the name swapped in. It sends them, and you follow everything from your dashboard. Some things we did on purpose: A company never gets more than one email from the same student in a year, and never more than a handful of students a month. We’d rather help students get read than flood inboxes. Every company can unsubscribe in one click, and that’s respected for good. The emails don’t read like they came from a tool: no “sent with TocToc” footer, no tracking pixels. You can try it free on 10 companies, no card needed, so you’ll see the real emails before paying anything. I’d love your feedback, especially on: the emails themselves: would you reply to one if you were hiring? anything in the flow that feels unclear or slow. Thanks for reading, I’ll be here all day to answer questions 🙏
