Mechanical keyboard sounds and a keycap pet for your Mac
Teclo sits in your Mac menu bar and plays a mechanical keyboard sound for every key you press, in any app. A keycap pet reacts as you type and powers up when you keep the pace. 10 sound packs. USD 4.99 once, for life, with a 7-day free trial.
I like the sound of a mechanical keyboard but type on a MacBook all day. Teclo plays a sound for every key you press and release, in any app, from the menu bar. Next to it lives a small keycap pet: it falls asleep when you stop, cheers up as you type, and powers up if you hold a fast pace.
How the sounds are made: all 10 packs are synthesized by Teclo's own code, not recorded samples. Six are mechanical keyboards (from lubed linears on foam to a buckling spring), and the other four are Rain, Typewriter, Pixel and Laser. Teclo reacts to key presses only; it never logs or sends what you type.
Price: USD 4.99 once, a lifetime licence, with a 7-day free trial on teclo.app.
I'd love to hear which pack you'd pick and what sound you miss.
